Cannot believe how fast I was able to get in and out of here!! Recently, I got married and needed to change my name and was pleasantly surprised at how fast everything went! The rep that helped me was very friendly and personable. Not sure if it was because of the holidays but there were so many windows open!!

The social security office, a necessary but often overlooked institution. While the lines can be dauntingly long, kudos to their efficient system; it moves surprisingly fast. Patience is key, but the staff's diligence in handling the crowds makes the experience more bearable.

You're sort of need to come here before 8:30 to get in line. There's no point in getting her crazy early because invariably you're in the wrong spot. There are two lines, one to do social security business and when to have your name change for any reason. Make sure you're in the right line. The security guard will ask you why you're there. Make sure you're in the correct line. Make sure you fill out the correct forms. It is very nicely expedited

Don’t call. No one answers!!! Literally have been waiting an hour and 20 min for someone to answer the phone!! The original hold time the automated system gave me was 42 min… yeah right!! 😡 hanging up. What a complete waste of my time. …

Better to take appointment first to reduce waiting time. One may go without appointment too but would be bit time-consuming based on number of people in queue. The security personnel over there is very helpful and supportive. He helped me by dialling in my uncle's phone as my phone wasn't working. Had a nice experience over there with supportive staff...

I did have a really great experience with the Social Security office this past time. I don't know whether I caught it at just the right time but it didn't take very long to be seen and the lady that helped me was extremely thoughtful and helpful. Including the very nice gentleman at the front door where you go in, he helped me get signed in.
